MEET OUR TEAM

Charles Tucker
Pastor
Pastor Charles and his wife Melissa live in Williamsburg, Virginia where she works as a CPA with PBMares. They have three grown daughters and nine grandchildren. In his free time, Pastor Charles enjoys walks in the neighborhood and Colonial Williamsburg, trips to Busch Garden with the family, and an occasional round of golf. Both Charles and Melissa are originally from Shelbyville Tennessee. Charles is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and received his Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary. He has served churches in Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia and has been at Community Presbyterian since March of 2023. “Melissa and I are blessed to be part of such a loving and caring church family,” he said.

Bianca Brinceanu
Music Director
Bianca Brinceanu is a Doctor of Physical Therapy student, set to complete her degree in August. She was born and raised in Newport News, VA, and earned her undergraduate degree at CNU. Bianca has been the pianist and music director for Community Presbyterian Church for over 5 years, where she has had the privilege of using her musical talents to support and uplift the church community. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling in her free time. Bianca is grateful for the opportunity to grow in both her faith and profession at CPC!

Lori Ward
Church Secretary
Lori Ward has been the secretary of Community Presbyterian Church since June of 1993, supporting the pastor and congregation. In the fall of 1994, she became the Director of Community Presbyterian Preschool. Children are a gift from God and the preschool’s call to ministry, “Let the little children come to Me” Matthew 19:14, has been Lori’s passion and purpose for 31 years here at CPC. Lori is also the Director of Scholarships at the Peninsula Community Foundation, assisting and equipping high school students with financial aid for college. Lori enjoys being with family, especially her two grandchildren and serving in the community.
